A Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Business Information Technology at Virginia Tech, I have successfully defended my research proposal and am currently working on finishing my dissertation. Prior to coming to Virginia Tech, I worked in Information Technology in Higher Education and also have experience working in business and government.
This Fall 2009 semester, I'm teaching Quantitative Methods, which is an introduction into the concepts and applications of statitistics used in managerial decision-making. Topics covered in the class include data collection and classification, descriptive statistics, probability theory, sampling distributions, and statistical inference. Course syllabus for Fall 2009.
This past Spring semester 2009, I taught Operations and Supply Chain Management, which studies the process directly related to the creation and distribution of goods and services. This course discusses methods for analyzing processes, ensuring quality, creating organizational value, and managing the flow of information, products and services across a network of customers, enterprises and supply chain partners.
